How to plan kitchen storage system

Generally, you do not plan enough storage space. Usually, the reason is not that the room is too small but you just do not think over what you exactly need.

You plan where to put the built-in appliances, but you do not think about where to put the toaster. You plan how your kitchen should look like but you forget how many accessories have to be stored in it.
